I-64 or I-81 (Exit I-64 onto I-81)
Take Interstate 81 to Exit 222. Follow 250 West (Richmond Road) for approximately 2 1/2 miles toward "Historic Downtown Staunton." You will begin to see signs to the Blackfriars Playhouse. When Hwy. 250 ends at a "T" intersection, turn right and go under the train tracks. Get immediately into the left lane to make an immediate left turn at the next light, which is Greenville Ave. (then quickly becomes Johnson Street.) Turn left and travel one curving block to New Street. At the corner of New Street and Johnson Street is the New Street Parking Garage. From the parking garage, walk through the east opening walkway and follow to the Blackfriars Playhouse.
From the North via Highway 11 (Bypass)
Drive south into Staunton toward "Historic Downtown Staunton." You will begin to see signs to the Blackfriars Playhouse. At the fork in the road, bear left. Follow to the traffic lights at Coalter Street. Go straight via Greenville Ave. onto Johnson Street. At the corner of New Street and Johnson Street is the New Street Parking Garage. From the parking garage, walk through the east opening walkway and follow to the Blackfriars Playhouse.
From the West
From either Churchville Road (Route 250) or Morris Mill Road, enter the Staunton by-pass (Route 262) going South. Exit East on Beverley Street (Route 254), towards "Historic Downtown Staunton." Once you reach downtown, turn right on Market Street to the Playhouse. (Parking is around the corner and down the hill in the New Street Parking Garage.)
