Sasha Cooke in Recital
Mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke, a 2007 Young Concert Artists prize winner, fresh from singing the lead role of Kitty Oppenheimer in the new production of Doctor Atomic by John Adams at the Metropolitan Opera this fall, will perform a program of songs and arias from the Blackfriars stage. Tickets are $5 for students, $12 for adults, and $7 for seniors and are available from the Fine Arts program at Mary Baldwin College at (540) 887-7294.
