In 2010, the Virginia Arts Commission and the Virginia Tourism Corporation will be rolling out Minds Wide Open, a year-long celebration of women in the arts. Launch events will take place around the Commonwealth during the months of February and March.

The ASC will be hosting the launch of Minds Wide Open for the Shenandoah Valley area over the weekend of February 27-28 with special recognition of the role of women in the arts, at the ASC, and in the plays of William Shakespeare. Please attend our three Minds Wide Open performances:

Saturday, Feb. 27

2pm -- Twelfth Night
7:30pm -- Henry VI, Part 2

Sunday, Feb. 28

2pm -- The Alchemist
