The Blackfriars Playhouse in historic Staunton, Virginia -- the world's only re-creation of Shakespeare's original indoor theatre -- is open year round for American Shakespeare Center productions, educational programs, musical events, and guided tours.

Now this one-of-a-kind facility is also available to rent for your meeting or special event. The theatre itself can accommodate up to 300 people, and smaller spaces such as the Cynthia Tyson Education Center and lobby areas are also available on an hourly, half-day, or full-day basis.
