In this section of our website you will find information about auditioning for the American Shakespeare Center.

Our audition process is designed for us to get a well-rounded look at each actor's abilities; we want to give you the opportunity to show off more than 60 seconds worth of talent. To build our ensembles, we also need to fit personalities together, so we're looking at more than just your audition piece. This approach, however, requires more time and patience on both ends than most auditions. Thank you for your understanding as we try to give every actor as much attention as we can.

We are extremely excited about our upcoming seasons at the Blackfriars Playhouse and on the road, and we look forward to seeing more of your work.
