The Blackfriars Conference pre-gala show “In Search of Shakespeare” featuring Bob Schieffer, was wonderfully memorable.


Alexandra Stroud, a North Carolina native, by way of Saint Maarten, is currently residing in Staunton, VA, and pursuing her Masters of Letters in Shakespeare and Performance at Mary Baldwin University. She comes to the program with a degree in Theatre, a minor in Education, and two years of high school theatre teaching experience. It is Stroud’s first year in the MLitt program but she looks forward to continuing on into the MFA program as well. Stroud is a certified Education Artist with the American Shakespeare Center and is thrilled to not only work for the ASC but also work on the Blackfriars stage with her amazing cohort and fellow actors.
