• The Shakespeare Schools Festival in the UK aims to give every student the chance to perform Shakespeare: “The idea is that kids learn not just literacy skills but the benefits of teamwork, application and pride in appearing on a proper stage.” Early reports show that the students involved are not just learning the skills of collaboration, but also the ways in which Shakespeare branches into other disciplines of study.
