Valentine’s Evening with Pride and Prejudice

A Night of Romance at the Blackfriars Playhouse

Join the American Shakespeare Center this Valentine’s Day for a special showing of Jane Austen’s beloved romance Pride and Prejudice, adapted by Emma Whipday just for the Blackfriars Playhouse stage. Perfect for a date night, girls’ night out, or family outing, tickets will be discounted to a specialty rate for this performance only! The performance begins at 7:30 PM with a musical pre-show starting 10-15 minutes before curtain.

Usually only available on select Sundays, we’ve made this delicious snack box from North Ridge Café available for our Valentine’s Day event as well. This delicious snack box filled with local treats (cured meats, cheeses, dried fruits, olives, macarons, and bread) will elevate your show-watching experience, especially when paired with a glass of wine or soft drink from our bar.

NOTE: BOXES MUST BE PRE-ORDERED BY SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11 at 5 PM.

We will also have a themed sugar cookie available at our bar for purchase during the event. These cookies will be specially made by Kanneytown Cookies exclusively for Valentine’s Day attendees.
