BIOGRAPHY:

Amber James is a theatre artist and marketing professional originally from Mesa, Arizona. She received her BFA in Classical Acting from Southern Utah University and her MLitt and MFA in Shakespeare and Performance from Mary Baldwin University. During her time with ASC, Amber has expertly led the exponential grow of ASC’s online presence through social media management, content creation, and weekly e-news design.

Before starting with ASC in 2019, she spent over two years as a Sales Manager for PSAV (now known as Encore) working at high-profile hotel locations such as the Mandarin Oriental Washington DC, Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, and Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. She also worked with the Utah Shakespeare Festival as an actor, teaching artist, and house manager for 3 years. Amber has professional acting and directing credits from all over the country, including Virginia, DC, Maryland, North Carolina, Indiana, and Utah. Her hobbies include dog-spotting, collecting handmade pottery, and traveling with her husband.
