I have been a fan of ASC for over 20 years—-I’ve seen Shakespeare productions in many wonderful theaters, and ASC is consistently the best!

MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE ASC MOMENT WAS…

…getting dragged up onstage during The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) and told to respond as a modern Ophelia might when Hamlet says “Get thee to a nunnery”.

BIOGRAPHY:

Pamela Friedman attended UVA as an English and Religious Studies major and fell in love with Shakespeare and theater in general. She believes that theater changes how you see the world and can build empathy and a stronger community.

She has worked as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch in Charlottesville for 30-odd years. In addition to her work, she loves to travel, attend theater, and support various organizations that work with housing and other issues affecting the less privileged parts of our community. She would like to help everyone share in the wealth of opportunities that our area offers.
