What we did

Welcome back to fight club, today we had the biggest battle of all amongst the cast, the “Crunch Off.” We began, again, with a rapidly long game of Eastenders before moving into Fight Call. At the latter end of fight call Mili held a super competitive “Crunch Off” between the Myrmidons to figure out how (and more importantly, how) we’re doing the knap for the battle between Achilles and Hector. After that we began to work all sound cues in the show. Then we ran specific moments to clean up the show and be prepared to show off to the other cast tonight. We ended rehearsal with Joan working music again.

Production Insights 

These fights keep getting more and more gruesome and it is gorgeous to witness. Now with the crunch decided for Hector’s death, the most impactful fight of the show now causes audible disgust in everyone who has watched it. The focus is intense on cleaning and their excitement have begun to bubble up again with all of us feeling how soon our performance is.
