Hands on experience at the world’s only recreation of Shakespeare’s indoor theater

Explore ASC’s customizable experiences for Colleges & Universities—from excellent deals on live performances from our professional acting company to a wide variety of workshop experiences with our expert Shakespeare scholars, ASC loves to work with colleges and universities.

Live Performances & Talkbacks

Colleges and Universities are welcome at our Student Matinee titles (10:30 AM on select Wednesdays and Thursdays during the K-12 school year) and at any of our normally scheduled performances. ASC currently operates February through December performing Shakespeare, his contemporaries, world-premiere productions, and modern hits. See our current calendar here.

Our group sales team will work with you to book specially-priced tickets and any additional experiences for you and your students. Depending on the date of your visit, we may be able to offer a free talkback with our actors.

Workshops & Residencies

Extend your ASC experience with a workshop—or work with our team to curate an entire weekend of tailored workshops, lectures, tours, and shows. Our team can help direct you to special hotel deals and local spots to visit.

While our ASC on Tour is currently on pause as we rebuild from the COVID19 pandemic, we do have on-campus residences available with our Education Artists.

Playhouse tours

A 25% non refundable deposit for in-person shows is due 14 days after receiving the deposit invoice. Your seating priority is based on the date your deposit is received.

For in-person performances, we request your final headcount two days prior to your visit. .

While we wish we could provide financial assistance to every qualifying school, the reality is that we will always have more worthy applicants than we have funds. We make decisions on a case-by-case basis, taking into account both needs and the school’s mission. Please give us more information on your group via this form.
