What we did

Today was a very busy day—we had not only our penultimate rehearsal, but also our full festival dress rehearsal! Campers got into full costume (looking very early modern and very cool, by the way), and we completed our first full run-through of the show. The dress rehearsal went about how dress rehearsals usually go… a bit chaotic, of course, but filled with standout and hilarious moments all the same. Now, with less than 36 hours until performance day… Huzzah!

  • From the cast
      • “Man, this rigor mortis is really something.” – Wren

Production Insights

Theatre is stressful. Tech week is hell. And tech week for a show that only gets about two days of tech? Let’s just say tensions run high. At camp, the final days before the festival are always intense—everyone’s juggling last-minute changes, nerves, and the pressure of putting everything together. But somehow, in the middle of all that chaos, something magical happens. The show transforms from a scattered work-in-progress into a fully realized performance. It’s easy to get caught in your head during this time. But one of the best things you can do is take a breath, step back, and remind yourself: things will work out.
