Good afternoon to all who read the blog!

It has been a very busy few days since last I wrote, the campers are back to a some what normal rehearsal schedule and I have a few important updates concerning Festival Day this coming Sunday, but first some fun updates.

This past Sunday after getting back to our first rehearsal since Thursday we rewarded the campers with an ice cream social! Something that is usually reserved for after Showcase Day, but for these given circumstances ice cream was desired. The campers socialized outside with each other, doodled with chalk, and raced each other to the best of their abilities.

Monday kicked off the busy catch up rehearsal schedule that we have all been following the past couple of days. Despite the set back COVID has caused the shows are in great shape and the campers are doing wonderful work! Pre show songs have been taught and learned, musical cues have been established, and campers have run the shows multiple times both in costume and not.

Yesterday campers had their final workshop with Ralph Alan Cohen, founder of the American Shakespeare Center. Last session campers had the same opportunity and it was a lovely work shop to witness. A wonderful little connection campers got to make with the man who started it all.

Today campers continue to rehearse. Tonight we jump back into Showcase scene rehearsals which leads me to write some very important information about this coming Festival Sunday.
