What we did……………………………………………………………………………..

We started our slow Sunday morning rehearsal with an energizing game of EastEnders. After the game we jumped right back into blocking, starting with Act 3 Scene 3. We continued our pattern of table work and blocking all the way through Act 4 Scene 2. With the remaining 20 minutes with ran the show from Act 2 Scene 4 through Act 3 Scene 7. Austen closed out rehearsal with a circle of reinforcement and a clap out.

Production Insights…………………………………………………………………

These campers have had an extremely full and exhausting week, so it is very difficult to come into a Sunday morning rehearsal focused and ready to work. However, these kids seem to have no issues being attentive, excited, and creative. While we all started rehearsal a bit sleepy, everyone’s energy was revived when we jumped into blocking. The love that these campers have for this show is always so empowering and it makes the rehearsal room such a fun place to be. I am yet again impressed by these young actors.
