Our 2020/21 National Tour will hit the road with three shows: a delightful comedy, a bloody tragedy, and a world-premiere play from our SHAKESPEARE’S NEW CONTEMPORARIES program:
- Our 90-minute no-intermission production of TWELFTH NIGHT disembarks on the distant shores of Illyria, awash with romance, revelry, disguises, and ASC’s trademark original music.
- Famous for its Sweeney Todd-style meat pies, TITUS ANDRONICUS is Shakespeare’s Roman epic, a nail-biting story of revenge that ends in madness and gore.
- Last but not least… Every year the ASC awards $25,000 to a playwright whose work brings a new perspective to these classic plays — this year, THE AWARD-WINNING PLAY joins our touring repertory and creates a perfect double-bill. This title, which will be chosen and announced in February 2020, will be paired with Twelfth Night.
Posters, cast information and photos will be available soon.
