Amy McLaughlin

Amy McLaughlin, who hails from Marshfield, MA, says she followed the family tradition by attending Boston College, where she majored in Theatre Arts and English. She also studied at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin, Ireland, before earning her MFA at the Trinity Rep Conservatory. She also taught at the Massachusetts Hospital School prior to joining the SSE for her first tour. Amy says her entry into the theatre world took place back in 1988, the year the SSE was born, when she wrote a letter to Henry Winkler telling him that she wanted to be an actor. Says Amy, “He wrote back.” Ayyy!
