BIOGRAPHY:
Bonner is a teaching artist and arts administrator with nearly 20 years of experience in the field. She has taught dance, theater and movement in a variety of settings, including the California State University System, Western State Hospital, public schools on both coasts, residential treatment centers for addiction recovery, and multiple performing arts organizations. Bonner moved to the Shenandoah Valley in 2020 from the San Francisco Bay Area, where she worked as a performing arts writer and editor of In Dance, covering professional dance in and around San Francisco. Her non-profit arts experience spans communications, public relations, marketing, grant writing and development. She holds a BA in Literature & Language from UNC-Asheville and an MA in Dance from Mills College. She is thrilled to be working among the bright minds and creative spirits at the American Shakespeare Center.
