James Hurdle

James Hurdle comes to Shenandoah Shakespeare by way of Tarheel State, having earned his degree in Drama from the North Carolina School of the Arts. His favorite past roles include Captain Lancey in Translations, Willie in Master Harold and the Boys, and Gupta in The Indian Wants the Bronx. This tour marks not only James’s first stint with SSE but also his first stab at life on the road, leading him to select “I will have my beds blown up not stuffed” as his favorite line from 2001: The Odyssey Tour.
