James Ricks

James Ricks returns to Shenandoah Shakespeare from the 2000 Scoff and Grin Tour, where he was seen as Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing and Aumerle in Richard II. Non-SSE roles include Hotspur in 1 Henry IV, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, and Jack in The Importance of Being Earnest. A native of Victoria, British Columbia, James earned his BFA in Theatre from the University of Oklahoma. Having literally driven across the country and back last year, James says his favorite line from 2001: The Odyssey Tour is “Lord, what fools these mortals be!”
