Jenner Brunk
Jenner returns to design again for Shenandoah Shakespeare after designing last season’s Importance of Being Earnest. Growing up in the Shenandoah Valley, Jenner enjoyed watching SSE performances since its very first season in 1988. Jenner worked as Head of Crafting for Illinois Shakespeare Festival for productions of King Lear, As You Like It, and The Knight of the Burning Pestle and has crafted with the Utah Shakespearean Festival and the Opera Festival du Roma. She is a resident designer and faculty member of the James Madison University School of Theatre and Dance where some of her favorite designs include The Misanthrope, Medea, The Twin Menaechni, and Hamlet Variations. Jenner completed her MFA studies at the University of Virginia, where she designed Arcadia, Into the Woods, Noise Off!, among others.
