BIO: Rachel Dozier-Ezell is the Costume Shop Manager at Columbia School of Arts. She is also the resident costume designer for Emerge125 Dance Company. Rachel has an MFA in Costume Design from The University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign and a BFA from The University of Montevallo. Rachel has taught costume technology, costume design, and costume crafts at the undergraduate and graduate level at Marymount Manhattan College, The New School, Pace University, The University of Illinois, and The University of South Dakota. Her collaborations have been seen at The Apollo, American Players Theatre, American Shakespeare Center, Birmingham Children’s Theatre, The Black Hills Playhouse, The Classical Theatre of Harlem, The Public (Joe’s Pub), Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Nationally w/ Elisa Monte Dance Company, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Fringe, Mystic Aquarium, The National Gallery, The National Black Theater, New York Musical Festival, Paper Mill Playhouse, The Shabazz Center, Theatre for a New Audience, and Trisha Brown. She is a two time AUDELCO award winner for her costume designs for Macbeth and The Three Musketeers.
