Giving Back to Our Community

This holiday season, join the American Shakespeare Center in giving back through Project Goodfellow. Founded by ASC actor Constance Swain in 2018, this initiative supports local families, schools, and organizations with a variety of donation drives. Each year, the focus of Project Goodfellow adapts to meet the most pressing needs of our community.

2024 Community Partner: Augusta County Preschools

In 2024, we are proud to support Augusta County Preschools, which provides early education and support to preschool-aged children in our community. Your donations will directly benefit Augusta County Preschoolers and help make the season brighter.

Why Project Goodfellow?

Project Goodfellow is more than just a donation drive—it’s about fostering a sense of community. Founded by ASC actor Constance Swain, this initiative brings people together each year to support those who need it most in our community. Whether it’s winter gear, educational resources, or building community, your donation helps create lasting change.

“Every year, our production of A Christmas Carol is a joyful reminder of the importance of giving,” says Stephanie Cabacoy, ASC’s Director of Marketing and Development. “Project Goodfellow is ASC’s way of giving back to the Shenandoah Valley and spreading a little joy this holiday season.”
