What we did: We introduced each other, and described our role in the production. Then, the entire play was read through.

Production Insights: After having participated in camp for two years as a camper, I now return as an intrepid Production Intern. The magic of camp is definitely not lost on the non-camper side of things. Indeed, it is a different, and very special kind of magic. Because, now, I am a part of the orchestration of the magic and I am able to observe the beautiful effects of it. Being able to work with, and work for, the campers is definitely going to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my entire theatre career, and I cannot wait to continue on in this journey.
This production appears to be turning out to be one of intense collaboration, and will leave each camper with a strong sense of support and community. Each cast member will be required to lean on each other, in order to bring to life this amazing production. The lessons that this production will teach, such as collaboration, responsibility, and fearlessness, will carry them throughout their life, and especially into their collegiate careers.
I cannot wait to see each and every camper grow into a more fantastic person every day.

Brigid Bakin
Brigid Bakin is the Production Intern for ASCTC's Session 1 production of As You Like It. She is a two-time camper in the two years previous, and is now extraordinarily excited to be working as a Production Intern. She attends Ave Maria University, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities and Liberal Studies, with a Minor in Shakespeare in Performance.
