What we did: We got the morning off to recover from late dress rehearsals. We had our morning meeting and decided our focus for today was to clean up hiccups from both of those rehearsals. We started with warm-ups followed by scene work of 2.4/3.3. Then we moved to 4.7/4.8 and finished our before lunch block with practice of Non Nobis and 5.2. After lunch we had music rehearsal and more scene work (2.2, 4.1). We finished with a fight call.

Production Insights Taking the morning off was very important and beneficial to our company as a whole. The self-love line felt very relevant today. Without proper self-care, we aren’t our best selves onstage. Our work offstage is just as important as our work onstage and taking care of ourselves is part of that work. After today’s “rest day” I feel more ready for a show in 4 days!!!
