What we did

After our usual morning meeting we started off the day by blocking 1.2! This took most of the morning as it’s an incredibly long scene. Those not in the scene ran lines, did text work, and generally did the thing. Before breaking for lunch our venerated leader Lia led the campers in Zumba! After a restful lunch break we worked 2.1a and 2.1b in the main courtyard and 4.1a and 2.2 amidst the trees. We took a break and came back to block 3.3. After one more break we finished up 3.3 before we were done with rehearsal for the day.

Production Insights 

WE HAVE A LIA! The campers have been doing a phenomenal job in her absence but they are SO excited to have her back! It’s been a definite boost in energy, plus the company is thrilled to show off their work to a mostly fresh pair of eyes. The company is also approaching the coveted benchmark of having touched on every scene in the play. It’s always encouraging when tangible progress is being made.
