Hey crew! Today we’re coming at ya with a very special blog post: it’s an FAQ about this weekend! So make to read this whole entry so you know where to go (and when). Let’s get started!

Cymbeline campers (the much anticipated “cave people”, in fact) run their scene during dress rehearsal this week

What are we talking about here?

Why, the ASCTC2023 final performance festival, of course! This is the big one: campers will be performing the two shows they’ve been working on for three weeks. The event is free and open to the public. An RSVP is required for in-person tickets (see below).

When is it? What’s the schedule?

This Sunday, July 16th, 2023! The schedule looks like this:

-10 AM: Doors open
-10:30 AM: All-Camp Song and Welcome
-10:40 AM: Julius Caesar
-12 PM: intermission
-12:15 PM Cymbeline
-1:35 PM: ASCOTS Induction & Group Photos
-2 PM: Lunch in the Life Celebration Reception at Hunt Dining Hall

We encourage you to watch both shows, to give your support to the whole camp!

That sounds great! Where is it?

The Blackfriars Playhouse in Staunton, VA. It’s beautiful, you should totally come see it.

Will do! How do I get tickets?

You can get tickets to the in person show here.

You can find the livestream here.

Princess Imogen shares an idea with her faithful Pisanio.

So there it is– the essential info for this weekend. We hope to see you there!

As always, keep it tuned to the ASCTC blog for all your camp life needs. This weekend, we’ll share some more photos from our last week at camp and the prep for Sunday’s show.
