What we did
After morning meeting, the Company did some Zumba before running through Neapolitan scenes. While this was happening the clowns went upstairs and worked a clown song moment. They all came back together to run the epilogue. After a break we did a cue-to-cue! This means that we run each cue and then skip to the next one so that everything is as smooth as possible.
After lunch, we did a run of the show! We went through calls and pre-show and ran everything as if it were a performance.
The Prospero’s (Lucy and Madie) goof around.
Quick and Quotable
- From the play:
- “Hark, they roar.” – Ariel (Lee)
- From the company:
- *Applause* – Everyone at everyone
Production Insights
Today was our last full day of rehearsal! The Company is so ready for their final performance. During the run today it was clear that they have moved beyond simply reciting lines and blocking. I also love that the Company has continued to make choices to the very last moment.
