YOUTH ADMISSION POLICY
ASC welcomes children seven and older to the Blackfriars Playhouse throughout the year. Children three and older are welcome to A Christmas Carol during the Holiday Season. Some of our plays contain material unsuitable for children. Call the box office for specific information about any show in the season.
Photos in the Blackfriars Playhouse are not permitted at any time during a performance, including the pre-show. If you’d like to take pictures of the Playhouse, we don’t blame you! After performances, the Lobby Staff will escort you back into the Playhouse to take photos.
PLEASE BE ON TIME
At show time (2pm/5pm/7:30pm), you are welcome to move to any empty seat you see. This fun, flexible, atmosphere also means your seat might be taken if you arrive late. Unlike other theatres, we don’t hold the curtain. We start on time every time. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager.
SEVERE WEATHER POLICY
Performances continue as scheduled unless we experience a loss of power or extremely dangerous conditions at the Blackfriars Playhouse. For patrons who cannot travel safely, we waive our standard exchange fee and gladly issue replacement tickets for another performance of the same play. Simply contact the Box Office within 24 hours after your missed show to make arrangements.
