Refunds and Exchanges

All tickets are non-refundable but can be exchanged for another performance with 48 hours notice and a $2.00 fee per ticket.

Subscribers pay no fees to exchange tickets.

ASC welcomes children seven and older to the Blackfriars Playhouse throughout the year.

Children three and older are welcome to A Christmas Carol during the Holiday Season and sensory-friendly performances of our 90-minute productions. See event pages for more details.

Some of our plays contain material unsuitable for children.
Call the box office for specific information about any show in the season.

Photos are NOT PERMITTED during any performance in the Blackfriars Playhouse, including the pre-show and interval.

If you’d like to take pictures of the Playhouse, we don’t blame you! You are welcome to remain in the theatre after the performance to take photos of the space.

You are also welcome to take photos during Playhouse Tours, pending availability.

Unlike other theatres, we don’t hold the curtain. We start on time every time. Latecomers are not guaranteed their purchased seats and will be seated at the discretion of the house manager.

If you are sitting onstage (on a gallant stool (Row Q)), you need to arrive 15 minutes before the performance begins. Patrons sitting in gallant stools (Row Q) are part of the show, and need to be in place before the start of the performance. Actors will offer empty gallants’ stools to patrons during the pre-show speech.

Performances continue as scheduled unless we experience a loss of power or extremely dangerous conditions at the Blackfriars Playhouse.

For patrons who cannot travel safely, we waive our standard exchange fee and gladly issue replacement tickets for another performance of the same play, pending availability.

Please contact the Box Office within 24 hours after your missed show to make arrangements.
