Nancy Anderson

Nancy is an actress, vocalist, and choreographer who appeared at ASC in last season’s world premiere musical, The Willard Suitcases by Julianne Wick Davis. Nancy has appeared on Broadway in A Class Act (Mona), Wonderful Town (Helen and Eileen), and Sunset Boulevard (u/s Glenn Close) and in the West End revival of Kiss Me Kate (Lois/ Bianca). Off-Broadway work includes Julianne Wick Davis’ The Pen, The Zellnik Brother’s Yank! and The Confession of Lily Dare by Charles Busch. Regionally, Nancy has played Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (St. Louis), Mrs. Wilkinson in Billy Elliot (Signature), Gladys in Pajama Game (Arena Stage), Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (Goodspeed) and Peter Pan in Peter Pan (Papermill). Nancy appeared in and provided choreography for Ethan McSweeny’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Tempest at The Shakespeare Theater in DC and in 2019 she directed and choreographed American Idiot at James Madison University’s School of Theater and Dance. Nancy’s TV credits include “Madam Secretary”, “The Other Two” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”. She hasg received an Olivier Award nomination, 3 Drama Desk Nominations, 4 Helen Hayes Nominations, and is the Winner of the 2011 Noel Coward Cabaret Award.
