Mary Coy

Mary Coy is a 2006 graduate of the Mary Baldwin College MLitt/MFA in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature in Performance. ASC credits include production assistant (The Complete Works of Wllm Shakespeare Abridged, Comedy of Errors), Assistant Director (Hamlet), and Stage Manager (Summer/Fall Season 2006 and 2007). Mary is a designated Linklater voice teacher (1993) and has many years’ experience acting and teaching voice, acting, and improvisation in universities and professional theatre training programs all over the United States including Shakespeare & Company, University of Mississippi, and Randolph Macon Woman’s College. She is Shakespeare consultant for the Nelson County, Virginia school system where she recently collaborated with teachers on a classroom manual relating the teaching of Shakespeare to the Virginia state Standards of Learning.
