This marriage attracts applicants from around the world to our coed Master of Letters/Master of Fine Arts in Shakespeare and Performance (MLitt/MFA).

MLitt/MFA students learn, direct, and perform in the authentically recreated Blackfriars Playhouse, benefiting from the college’s partnership with internationally acclaimed American Shakespeare Center and combining academic and applied aspects of Shakespearean theatrical studies." - MBC Website

Launched in fall 2001, the MLitt/MFA attracts applicants from all over the country. Those who complete the MLitt degree may choose to move on to more advanced work leading to an MFA.
