Kelley McKinnon
Kelley McKinnon is a slightly off-balance Shakespeare addict who likes to play with knives. Excited to join the artistic team for her first season, she has previously acted for the ASC in three touring seasons. In 2010 she directed Love’s Labours Lost for the ASCTC, and she adored every moment of it.
Previous directing experience includes 8 years with the American Globe Theater in Manhattan where she directed 8 shows including: Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth, and The Comedy of Errors. She also has worked with composers developing new musicals directed several one woman/cabaret shows.
Kelley attended Boston Conservatory of Music and has studied Shakespeare with John Basil. She also has 12 years of experience in stage combat including training with Rod Kinter, Joe Travers, Kathy McClure, Ricky Ravitts and J. P. Scheidler.
