Sara Vazquez
Sara has been a member of the ASC team since the 2013 Summer and Fall Seasons. She grew up in Michigan (America’s high five), developing her love for Shakespeare and the stage while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Grand Valley State University (Grand Rapids, MI). Just before arriving in Virginia, she spent several seasons working at Lexington Children’s Theatre in Lexington, Kentucky. She kept herself quite busy with stage managing, directing, assistant directing, acting, teaching, casting, booking, planning major events, and making people smile.
Some of her favorite credits outside of the ASC include Love’s Labour’s Lost (Assistant Stage Manager), The Neverending Story (Stage Manager), MisterE of Imagination: The Tales of Edgar Allan Poe (Stage Manager/Assistant Director), and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Mr. Beaver).
