Jay joined the ASC in 1999 after working for nine years as a project leader for Corning Incorporated. Prior to that, he was an actor in New York. He was instrumental in the opening of the Blackfriars Playhouse and conceived and developed the Actors’ Renaissance Season. He has worked as casting director, actor, or producer on all of Shakespeare’s plays (most multiple times), three dozen other early modern plays, and over 80 musicals and modern plays. He is a longtime member of Actors’ Equity Association.
